How to Create and Sell Your First Ebook (8)

Ten Steps Guide for Newbies

Step Eight: Writing Your First Salesletter

You need an excellent sales letter. In fact this will be the content of your website. You can find a lot of salesletter examples just by browsing on the internet or visiting Clickbank website.

Carefully study the salesletters in your niche. Write down what you like. After 3-4 salespages you'll have a general idea what to include in yours.

The first important thing is a title again. Those first lines have to grab visitor's attention and all you have to do is keep the attention on. Every sentence you put in the salesletter has a purpose - to convince the reader to read the next one. The whole impression has to be so strong that the visitor has to be convinced to click on the Buy button.

Testimonials are highly recommended. They are the one that will prove all you state about your ebook. Make sure that you post testimonials in the beginning, in the middle and at the very end.

Keep an eye on the latest tricks and tips, currently used on the salespages of the most successful marketers and implement those on your web page. Sound and video records are largely implemented recently, but you shouldn't wary about that in the very beginning.

Remember, your goal is to make the first move. You cannot expect perfection in your first step into that completely new for you area. Every step you complete now is a tremendous success. Just keep on moving and do not be afraid to make your mistakes. They will be the one elevating you to your goals, whatever they are.

One way to keep attention is to tell an interesting story. It could be a story about you, your friends or family. Keep it simple and interesting.

Your sales page has to reveal what kind of problems one can solve by using the information in your system. It is good idea to bullet point those lines.

Emphasize on the benefits. Make list of all benefits.

Use subtitles and different colors to point over the key words. Finally, tell the visitor to act now. Place your purchase buttons and use all purchase systems you have signed up: Clickbank, PayPal or StormPay.

People need to be told what to do. You already control their attention and use that power to convince them to purchase. Make a special time limited offers and discounts at the very end.

Don't forget to include a free email course offer. It takes more than one trial to convince a customer to buy your product. By collecting their e-mails you increase the number of your potential customers. Send them good quality materials and give them a chance to buy again.
