safe and secure web standards award scheme http://htmlblock.co.uk/secure
Designing a website can be hard work.
Now days people use:
Vaild XHTML/HTML
Vaild CSS
But how many use Vaild SS?
SS means Safe and Secure, a META TAG which was released on the 28th October 2004 which tells a user if the page they are on is safe and secure.
All the webmaster must do is place the META TAG in their site which is as followed:
http://www.htmlblock.co.uk/secure/ class=0" />
then validate their page from:
http://htmlblock.co.uk/secure
This new META TAG keeps sites safe by telling a user that their site is classed as safe and secure.
If your site does not have or use this META TAG we recommend that you are you use it.
It will become a standard META TAG within 3 years, and big search engines such as Google, Yahoo will pick up on these and award thoses sites which the META TAG in.
I don't know much else about this META TAG yet, but I have found out that nearly 245,778 sites added this META TAG to their site within the FIRST week in was out.
The firm thinks that over 8 million sites with use this META TAG by the end of 2007.
Keep building sites and have fun.
Philip Smith.
