How About a Web Promotion Resource Directory . . .
Not so long ago, I had the task of seeking people/companies that were involved in the business of web site promotion. After hours of browsing Search Engine results I reached one single conclusion. "I need a different resource than the Search Engines!" So, I snatched a FREEBIE directory script from the folks over at http://www.t-dreams.com and proceeded to make my own Directory of Web Site Promotion and planted it at http://djam-promo.com/WebDirectory where hopefully it will grow, providing me a ready made resource to draw from the next time one of my customers asks me a question.
My customers ask a wide variety of questions, such as:
"Where's a good download site that we can post our program/script on?"
"How do we build, publish, and distribute an e-book?"
"Where sites do you publish your articles to?"
and virtually every question you can imagine regarding SEO, link exchange, forums, banner exchanges, and more.
Now, if I can have everybody's attention for just a moment or two . . . Ahem! This is relatively simple. If you provide a service that would be considered Web Site Promotion, come add your site data to my new Directory. What kinds of sites are considered Web Site Promotion?
Search Engines, Directories, Link Directories, URL Submissions, Link Exchanges and although I hate to say it out loud, even FFA Pages.
Anybody in the SEO, Article Exchange, Downloads, Forums, Blogs, Text, Banner or Banner Exchange Food Chain, and all the many people that do the specifics involved such as writers, coders, graphics, and the list goes on and on.
Most everybody involved in the Web-Magazine business, Web News, and anybody that sells ad space for web site promotion. And again, the list goes on and on.
If you are not sure if your site qualifies for inclusion to my directory, submit it and I'll decide for you. Each link will be manually verified ensuring craziness minimized.
And, adding your linkage in response to this article will prove to validate it as Web Site Promotion itself. You see, this article is actually about Web Site Promotion. Use of Articles properly distributed, is an excellent method of Web Site Promotion. Writing an article that actually gets read and responded to is more than Web Site Promotion, it's SUCCESS!
